A short while ago production of the second issue of our newsletter The Bangor Linguist has been completed. In this issue you will find some information on what’s happening in the society and in the department, there is a review of the film “The Linguists” and one of the new Welsh Linguistics module. Further this issue contains an article on some lexical rareties in the English language, reports on the BLS Christmas Meal and Halloween outing as well as the regular linguistics crossword and announcments of events not to be missed!
